These are excellent Dump and Go Crockpot or Slow Cooker Dinner ideas, perfect for the Beginner Cook. So Easy and So Delicious.


* Slow Cooker Crack Chicken *
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 oz. packet ranch seasoning mix
8 oz. cream cheese
6 slices bacon (sliced, cooked and drained)
Shredded cheddar cheese
Green onions (optional)
Add the chicken to the slow cooker. Sprinkle over the ranch seasoning mix. Add in Cooked Bacon also.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Shred the chicken, I do this right in the slow cooker with 2 forks. Stir the cream cheese into the shredded chicken. Spread out into an even layer. Sprinkle over the cheese. Cover for 10 more minutes to allow the cheddar cheese to melt.
Sprinkle over the green onions. Enjoy! We love to eat this Crack Chicken on Brioche Buns!

* Crockpot Lasagna *
This easy crockpot lasagna only takes about 30 minutes of prep time. All the cooking is done while you are busy with the rest of your day. Here’s how to make it step-by-step below..
Cooking spray
2 lb lean ground beef
1 onion, diced
4 Tbsp minced garlic
salt & pepper
2 cans tomato sauce (you can skip the last one, its optional)
1 jar pasta sauce
Lasagna Noodles
1 16 ounce tub ricotta cheese
3 cups mozzarella cheese
1 cup water
Brown the ground beef
Add the onions, garlic, salt, pepper and tomato sauce, and pasta sauce.
Layer your ingredients in the crock pot in this order: meat sauce, noodles and cheese
Repeat until you use all the ingredients and fill the crock pot (usually three layers)
Pour an extra can of tomato sauce over the entire pot
Pour 1 cup of water down the sides to keep it from burning and allow for even cooking
Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.

* Slow Cooker Ham and White Beans *
1 lb package dried northern beans
1 ham bone, or diced ham, about 1 pound
2 tsp onion powder
6 cups water
salt and pepper
Rinse the beans. Add the rinsed beans, onion powder, salt, pepper, and ham to the crockpot. Add water. Cover and cook on low about 8 hours, until beans are tender.
Remove ham bone, and pull off the meat. Add meat to the crockpot and mix. Serve with cornbread.
** Inspired by Plain Chicken – We add our already cooked diced ham in the last hour and let it warm up with the beans.
